Open plaza, open roof and open ideas

Project area is located between;  low-rise dense housing texture and the area in the southeast, which is also used as a ceremonial area. Floor and sub-floor volumetric continuity provided with functions such as exhibition gallery and open amplifier. Functions, divided into two main parts: culture and recreation. The show hall and exhibition areas are located in the west while receiving, workshop and restaurant units are located in the east. These two mass groups create public interior streets, squares and open spaces amp; It becomes an urban meeting place with the existing green texture. Designed taking into account the urban texture garden-squares and mass formations are defined by a volumetric eaves system. On the one hand, it helps define the area and the promenade and on the other hand, it responds to climatic features and provides shaded areas. The project, built around defined entrances/axes, is active at different times of the day. Accessibility from different elevations and usage is taken into account.

Proje alanı, az katlı yoğun konut dokusu ve güneydoğuda tören alanı olarak da kullanılan sahanın arasında yer almaktadır. Zemin ve zemin altı hacimsel devamlılık sergi galerisi ve açık amfi gibi fonksiyonlarla sağlanmıştır. Fonksiyonlar, kültür ve rekreasyon akslarıyla iki ana parçaya ayrılır. Batıda gösteri salonu ve sergi alanları yer alırken, doğuda atölye ve restoran birimleri konumlandırılmıştır. Bu iki kütle grubunun oluşturduğu kamusal iç sokaklar, meydanlar ve açık amfi, mevcut yeşil doku ile birlikte kentsel buluşma mekanı halini alır. Kent dokusu dikkate alınarak tasarlanan bahçe-meydanlar ve kütle oluşumları hacimsel bir saçak sistemi ile tanımlanır. Bir yandan alan ve promenad tanımlanmasına yardımcı olurken diğer yandan iklimsel özelliklere cevap verir, gölge alanlar sağlar. Tanımlı girişler/akslar etrafında kurgulanan proje, günün farklı saatlerinde aktif olarak çalışır. Farklı kotlardan erişilebilirlik ve kullanım esas alınmıştır.
