Beyond the city

Demand: Designing economical accommodation units that bring the user together with nature.

With the increasing need to spend time in nature during the pandemic and its aftermath, people began to look for places where they could spend time away from the city. The project area, located ten minutes away from Köseler village by car, offers different types of economical accommodation units to different users. The use of natural resources in the region and interaction with the local are considered to be in line with the definition of ecotourism. The relationships that design establishes with topography, environment and local people positively support the imagined life. It creates a social environment that includes programs such as local flavors restaurant, square-open-air fire, workshops, library, children's playground and open-air cinema.
