A maximised view at the water’s edge

Mersin is a very big city located in the southern part of Turkey by the mediterranean sea. The city is growing through the western edge along the seaside. With this grow, the former residential units which needs regeneration in terms of structural conditions become the new market for large scale urban regenerations. In our proposal, 4 of the residential towers which have 40 floors each, maximizes the sea view with the wing shaped posture. The 5th tower is a 5 star hotel with serviced apartments on top. The design connects with the urban tissue on the north with an open street commercial plinth. The courtyard of the apartments services as a recreational park for the individuals living in here.
